EndNote: Google Scholar

Importing from Google Scholar

Note: You will need a Google account to access these features.

Steps:

1. Open http://scholar.google.com/, sign in to account.
2. Click on Scholar Preferences.
3. Change Bibliography Manager preference to Show links to import citations into EndNote.

  • Each record will now have the option Import into EndNote below it.

4. Search Google Scholar
5. Click on the Import into EndNote link for the references you wish to add to your library.
6. When the dialog box appears, check Open With and select Endnote X2.0.1 (default)
7. Viola!  Your references will now be in your library.  Review the imported entries with the Preview tab to make sure they are correct.
