NEWSPAPERS AND NEWS SERVICES

UCSB Library subscribes to the Friday North American edition of Al-Ahram, the daily edition of Ha'aretz, and the daily edition of The Jerusalem Post.

The newspapers are located in the New Book Area on the First floor. Paper issues are kept until microfilm arrives.

As free access titles, generally only the current issue or issues for the last few weeks are available. At this time the library does not have a subscription to any online Middle Eastern language newspapers. Most online newspapers and magazines require a subscription in order to access earlier issues, but you can read the day's news.
