Slavic and Eastern European Studies: Course Guides

Describes research sources for Russia, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union.

Guides Prepared for Courses

RUSS 1-6

Are you learning to speak Russian?  Check out the Russian Language tab.

RUSS 101

These guides were prepared for specific quarterly assignments.  These guides can be useful for completing an assignment for Slavic 101, or for doing research on these topics.

The guides will include links to research sources and also examples of my presentations and handouts from previous quarters.  The examples are intended only as a guide on how you might want to do your project.  This is not how you are required to do yours.  If you have questions, please ask Larry.

Other Pages for Students Taking Russian

Students in Russian-language classes should also use the resources under the Русский/Russian tab.

The main page there includes information about cyrillicizing your computer.  There is also a page on news sources from Russia.
