RUSS 101 - Any Topic (McLellan): Home

This guide is for the Slavic 101 assignment to do a presentation on a topic of your choice.

Be sure to read the guidelines for the assignment carefully.

Your presentation will be much more interesting and easier to understand if you use some illustrations.

I usually use a Powerpoint presentation, but this is not required.

You are usually required to prepare a handout on your topic to give out to the other students.

See the examples linked on this page.  Note that the requirements for the assignment have changed over time, so not all my examples meet the current requirements.

Sample Handouts

New words and phrases:  Be sure to put your list of new words and phrases at the beginning of your handout.  Some of these example handouts are older and do not have the list first, but that is how Larry would like you to do them now.

Multiple choice questions:  The questions at the end of your handout should be multiple choice questions.  Again, some of these handouts are older from before we were doing multiple choice.
