Special Research Collections & University Archives

Special Research Collections (SRC)
3rd floor, Mountain Side is home to Special Research Collections, which contains rare and unique materials that support UCSB students, faculty, research programs and the wider scholarly community. To get to the SRC, you must use the Mountain Side stairway or elevators.

The SRC has a number of distinctive collections related to local and regional history, including the California Ethnic & Multicultural Archives, the Digital Chicano Art collection, and the American Religions Collection. There are a number of digitized collections viewable online as well.
