Exercise & Sports Studies: Reference Works

Reference works provide quick access to information about your topic. A dictionary offers definitions of words and phrases, while an encyclopedia will provide an overview and introduction to your topic, written by experts in the field.  Most encyclopedia entries also include cited references which can lead you to other academic sources.
