One of the best things about being immersed in campus life at UCSB is that students, faculty, researchers, and the greater Santa Barbara community can take advantage of the variety of intellectually stimulating, civic-spirited, and socially engaging opportunities that it provides. The award-winning UCSB Reads program is a common reading experience that involves the campus and the broader Santa Barbara community in conversations about a key topic while reading the same book. In 2021, we are looking forward to events that include faculty panels, book clubs, exhibitions, film screenings and other forums that grapple with race, Black activism and more.
Celebrate the 15th anniversary of UCSB Reads by making a gift to support the program.
Your gift will make possible this year's book giveaway, author visit, and accompanying programs. Every donation in any amount is essential to building and sustaining all of our outreach programs including UCSB Reads.
