Who is this guide for?
This guide is designed for Library Instructors at UCSB. In response to the Chancellor's guidelines to institute remote instruction for the Spring quarter 2020, the Library Instruction Team and the Teaching & Learning Department have constructed this resource to aid library instructors in providing instructional support to students using online technologies both synchronously and asynchronously.

This homepage also includes resources from across campus that can be used to help you teach online as well as information sources about how the campus is responding to COVID-19.

- Keep TeachingFrom Instructional Development at UCSB, provides a list of possible solutions for continuing instructional services. Largely directed toward faculty and TAs.
- Preparing to Teach OnlineA comprehensive training site for instructors and TAs now available on GauchoSpace! The site has ideas, resources, links to UCSB-supported technologies, and opportunities to interact with each other and with us. You also have a chance to experience the training as a game, where you will complete quests to earn a certificate of completion in Preparing to Teach Online.
- Keep LearningA comprehensive site to provide student assistance with remote learning: access, strategies, time management, access to resources, and more. The site has been compiled by representatives from the Office of Undergraduate Education (Transfer and ONDAS Centers, Undergraduate Mentoring, CITRAL, and more) and Student Affairs (CLAS, EOP, and more.)
