Government Information (United States): Congressional Research Service Reports

Resources for United States Government Information at UCSB Library

Congressional Research Service

The Congressional Research Service (CRS), part of the Library of Congress, is responsible for providing non-partisan analysis for the U.S. Congress. These reports are excellent resources for policy research, but are only made available on an informal, unpublished basis. Several libraries and archives collect these resources and make them available to the public.

For more suggested sources, check out the CRS Reports guide from the Gallagher Law Library, University of Washington School of Law.
