eScholarship publishes over 70 academic journals, from international publications led by UC faculty to law reviews affiliated with UC law schools and campus-specific undergraduate journals. eScholarship journals span the disciplines, focusing on emerging fields and areas of study that have significance for researchers and practitioners alike.

The Public Library of Science publishes several well-established open access, peer-reviewed journals covering various disciplines in the sciences, including PLOS Biology, PLOS One, and PLOS Medicine.
PeerJ
An off-shoot of PLoS, PeerJ is a new high-impact, Open Access journal in the biological and medical sciences. PeerJ operates under a unique publishing fee model, which includes lifetime membership options.

University of California Press

MIT Press Open Access
