Open Access Publishing Support: Publishing and Depositing in eScholarship

About eScholarship

eScholarship is a comprehensive open access repository and scholarly publishing platform that enables departments, research units, publishing programs, and individual scholars associated with the University of California to have direct control over creating and disseminating the full range of their scholarship. UC scholars can share the full range of their scholarly output, from working papers and seminar series to previously published articles. Student work on eScholarship includes electronic theses, dissertations, and undergraduate capstone projects.

eScholarship Publishing

eScholarship Publishing provides comprehensive publication services for UC-affiliated departments, research units, publishing programs, and individual scholars who seek to publish original, open access journals, books, conference proceedings, and other original scholarship. Our journal program, in particular, supports publications that traverse standard disciplinary boundaries, explore new publishing models, and/or seek to reach professionals in applied fields beyond academia.

eScholarship Repository

The eScholarship Repository preserves and disseminates a wide range of scholarship, including working papers, electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), student capstone projects, papers, and seminar series. The eScholarship Repository is also the primary destination for researchers depositing their previously-published journal articles in accordance with the Academic Senate’s UC Open Access Policy.
