- If we do not own a particular item, you will be prompted to sign in with your UCSB NetID so that you can request the item through Interlibrary Loan.
- While UC Library Search includes academic articles, I recommend using the Library's article databases to ensure that you are getting the most in-depth, comprehensive list of results.
Dissertations & Theses
A dissertation is a comprehensive, original research project written by a doctoral student to qualify for a PhD degree. A thesis is the equivalent product to obtain a Master's Degree. Check with your instructor to see if these are acceptable sources for your research.
