Welcome! This guide will introduce you to resources for completing research while studying abroad.
If you think there are resources, or have more specific needs that aren't addressed here, please reach out with your questions or comments.
Remember, even while abroad, you remain a student of UCSB, and will continue to have access to UCSB Library's electronic resources and staff. To ensure you retain access, make sure to install the Campus VPN and use a stable internet connection. We recommend getting the VPN up and running before you leave, so you don't run into any issues in a different timezone.
This is also a handy tool to use while traveling or using public wifi networks to preserve your data and privacy. Learn more about using a VPN by reading the Campus VPN FAQ.
