Finding Background Information and Research Techniques

On this page are some examples of encyclopedias for use in qualitative methods in environmental studies. To find specific articles in encyclopedias, use UC Library Search.

Use quotation marks to search your term as a complete phrase. Use the asterisk * wildcard to search all variant endings of your word: environment* will retrieve environment and environmental.

For example: 

  • "public health" AND environment*

  • "marginalized communities" AND environment*

When you get your results, select Resource Type > Reference Entries from the left toolbar.
