Films can be borrowed from the Library for in-class viewing,
Kanopy streaming licenses (1 year licenses) are available for individual films for Course Reserves/out-of-classroom viewing for courses of any size. Requests must be submitted by Faculty/Instructors via the Online Course Reserves System (ARES). There is a limit of 9 films per instructor per quarter.
Films can be put on physical Course Reserves for students to borrow. There are media viewing stations in the Main Library and rooms in the Music Library for viewing VHS, DVD, and BluRay.

If you are submitting your request through the Course Reserves platform, follow these steps;
1. Use your UCSB NetID and password to access Ares via this link, http://ares.library.ucsb.edu/ares/
