A local guide to using Esri's ArcGIS Online

ArcGIS Online Resources

ArcGIS Online is a set of interactive mapping tools and datasets provided to us as part of our campus site license to Esri's ArcGIS.  This is a rapidly evolving resource, so this information is subject to frequent changes. Log in using your UCSBnetID at https://ucsb.maps.arcgis.com

What you can do in ArcGIS Online is based on your user role.  The default role is "Default 2024," which allows you to access datasets produced by Esri as well as create Web Maps, Map Apps and 3d Web Scenes.  Additional privileges can be granted upon request by emailing dreamlab@library.ucsb.edu.

Additional information is available on the DREAM Lab's website
