Asian American Studies: BrowZine

This guide is a good place to start in doing research related to Asian American Studies.

What is BrowZine?

BrowZine helps you keep up with the latest research in your field. You can access it on the web, through a mobile app, or both as it syncs your account across all devices. It's available to all UC Santa Barbara faculty, staff, and students.

With BrowZine, you can:

  • Browse UCSB Library’s scholarly journals by subject categories
  • Search for known journals by title or ISBN
  • Review current tables of contents 
  • Save your favorite journals and articles to a personal bookshelf
  • Read / download full-text articles
  • Receive alerts when new articles or journal issues are published
  • Share links to articles, or export references into bibliographic management software

Additionally, BrowZine facilitates one-click access to the full text of library-licensed articles within UC Library Search. When you find an article in UC Library Search for which full text is available, you will see a Download Now link.

How do I access BrowZine?

There are two ways to access BrowZine:

  1. Web link from within UC Library Search or directly at browzine.com
    • On-campus, you will be recognized as a member of UC Santa Barbara
    • Off-campus, you will be prompted to "Choose My Library.”  Select University of California Santa Barbara. Enter your NetID and Password.
  2. Download the Mobile App
