UCSB has a rich history of activism, research, teaching, and community building around Asian American studies. The UCSB Library is also proud to be home to the Asian American Studies Collection, part of our larger Ethnic & Gender Studies Collection. These are part of a broader array of Asian American studies activity on campus.
We acknowledge that the lands this University was built upon were founded upon exclusions and erasures of many Indigenous peoples, including those on whose lands it is located, the villages and unceded territories of the Chumash people.
