The World Shakespeare Bibliography Online is, of course, an excellent choice for this assignment. It contains Shakespeare-related scholarship, theatrical productions, and other materials published or produced worldwide between 1960 and the present.
- The WSB Online contains a more comprehensive collection of Shakespeare-related materials than other databases. Note, however, that it does not contain anything created before 1960.
- Does not contain full text, so use the
- Coverage includes things like theater reviews, popular magazine articles, elementary school productions, and other materials that you will need to filter out.
- Be aware that journal articles in the "Document Type" dropdown menu will include articles from non-academic, non-professional sources. You will need to evaluate your results carefullly.
