The MLA International Bibliography has traditionally been the index of choice for identifying scholarly and critical studies of literatures around the world and from all time periods.
- MLA's subject indexing can be problematic. You may get better results by keeping the dropdown menu to the default "Select a Field" and relying on your own search terms (your "keywords").
- MLA is primarily an index so it rarely contains the full text of articles. Click the
to link to the article on another platform. - If we do not have access to an article online in any of our subscription databases, the will provide a link Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The Library will find the article elsewhere and email you a link, usually within a day or two.
