Zotero for Group Work: Home

This guide is designed for research groups that want to share citations and files through Zotero.

Introduction

This guide is designed for groups who need to work collaboratively and share Zotero records amongst themselves.  Before using Zotero for group work, you should already have a basic understanding of how Zotero works.  The UCSB Library offers a Zotero workshop each quarter.  It is recommended that you attend the workshop or at least read through the Zotero Workshop guide before working with a Zotero group.

Getting Started

In order to work collaboratively with others using Zotero, each person should:

  • Install the Zotero desktop software and the Zotero connector on at least one browser
  • Create a Zotero account and sync their desktop version of Zotero with their online account
  • Understand the basics of Zotero use
