What does a subject specialist librarian do?

The librarians act as liaisons between the Library and their assigned academic departments, communicating the needs of the faculty and students in those departments to the Library, and information about Library services, resources and events to the department.

They also use their familiarity with the subject area to provide specialized research assistance to students and faculty, and instruction in library research and related topics for classes in their assigned departments.

The subject specialist librarians are here to assist YOU with your library research. We look forward to serving you!
