• Tagline: UCSB Reads, a program of the UCSB Library, brings the campus and Santa Barbara communities together each year for dialogue about important topical issues while reading a common book.
• UCSB Reads 2025 Selection is The Book of Delights by Ross Gay. 
• Authors Event: On Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:30pm, UCSB Library will host The Book of Delights author, Ross Gay, for a free public lecture in UCSB's Campbell Hall. Event is in partnership with UCSB Arts & Lectures.
