• Tagline: UCSB Reads, a program of the UCSB Library, brings the campus and Santa Barbara communities together each year for dialogue about important topical issues while reading a common book.

• UCSB Reads 2023 Selection is Happy City:Transforming Our Lives Through Urban Design by Charles Montgomery. 
   
• Author Event: On Wednesay, May 10, 2023 at 7:30pm, UCSB Library will host Happy City author, Charles Montgomery, for a free public lecture in UCSB's Campbell Hall.
