I am a librarian on the Teaching & Learning Team at UCSB Library. In this role, I provide and support foundational information literacy instruction in-person and online for first-year and first-generation students through course-integrated instruction and outreach activites.
Students, Teaching & Learning can help you get started on your research: narrow your topic; find books, articles, and other research materials; develop search strategies; navigate databases; discuss and understand the construction of authority and power in sources.
Faculty and Staff, Teaching & Learning can introduce you/your department to the library. I can collaborate on class sessions to support information literacy needs specific to your course; develop assignments that utilize information literacy; help with any reference and research questions of your own.
