Search for Information

Locating Books

Search the UCSB Library Catalog for the title. Check the Location Guide to find out what floor to go to.

Note that some essays and poems are part of collections that are in a book. Search the book title, not the essay or poem.

Can't find it at UCSB? Search the Melvyl Catalog and request it from another library with the or buttons. If you don't have 3-5 working days for delivery, you can check the Santa Barbara Public Library Catalog and check out a book from a local branch.

Locating Articles

If you already have your source, use the Citation Linker to find it.

Everything Else

Try searching Google using the Advanced Search feature. You can search the title of your work as a phrase.
