Giant Moby-Duck Spotted on Campus
Book Giveaway - January 12, 2011
Chancellor Henry Yang and his wife, Dilling, help kick off the UCSB Reads program by distributing 2,500 copies of this year's selected book, Moby-Duck, to UCSB students.
University Librarian Denise Stephens and Executive Vice Chancellor Gene Lucas hand out copies of Moby-Duck to students.

Our community "Moby-Duck" is being created by visitors who add their pledge to make a choice that makes a difference. Located on the wall in the main hallway, 1st floor of Davidson Library.

Post-it note pledges to make a change are creating feathers for this Moby Duck
Beach Plastic Duck
Created by local artist Holly Mackay, it is made entirely of plastic waste collected from local beaches or taken from trash. Sponsored by the Coastal Fund and Art From Scrap, Holly's goal was to make a 4 foot tall duck that looks like a rubber ducky and is made just from waste plastic.
