In this course you will be examining Italian colonialism and the lasting effects of the Italian empire. You will be exploring each of Italy’s colonies and possessions in Africa and the Mediterranean from 1861-1945, including Rhodes and the Dodecanese, Albania, Libya, and the Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia).
For your bibliography you are being asked to find a minimum of 20 sources, including scholarly sources and at least one newspaper article, one dissertation, and one website.
