I am the Director of Teaching & Learning Librarian at UCSB Library. In this role, I supervise a team of librarians and staff who provide and support foundational information literacy instruction in-person and online for first-year students and students in general education courses.
Students, Teaching & Learning can help you get started on your research: narrow your topic; find books, articles, and other research materials; develop search strategies; navigate databases; discuss and understand the construction of authority and power in sources.
Faculty and Staff, Teaching & Learning can introduce you/your department to the library. I can collaborate on class sessions to support information literacy needs specific to your course; develop assignments that utilize information literacy; help with any reference and research questions of your own.
