The Women in Technology (WIT) book club is a way for us to get together in a fun, informal way to read together, talk ideas, and build community. Our group is sponsored by WIT but is open to all students, staff, faculty and affiliates, not just women in tech. We meet once a month to have lunch together discuss a new book.
We'll meet next on Tuesday, February 12 to discuss the UCSB Reads books, The Best We Could Do. As usual, let's plan to meet at lunch 12-1pm at Chemistry Green (lawn by Chemistry and Engineering). Bring your lunch, book and blanket! :D"

Asian Pacific Islander Association Book Club is your chance to read great books, socialize, and discuss the books with other API staff and faculty. Our first book will be this year's UCSB Reads "The Best We Could Do" an illustrated memoir by Thi Bui. If you have never been in a book club before, no worries. Michael Takahara who is organizing this for APIA has never been in one either.
