Find Background Information

Below are some examples of encyclopedias in Environmental Studies and Environmental Science & Management. To find specific articles in encyclopedias, use UC Library Search.

Use quotation marks to search your term as a complete phrase. Use the asterisk * wildcard to search all variant endings of your word: environment* will retrieve environment and environmental.

For example: 

  • fisheries AND harvest*

  • "marginalized communities" AND environment*

When you get your results, select Resource Type > Reference Entries from the left toolbar.
