Scholarship of Teaching: Websites

CITRAL is a research hub that promotes and supports inclusive, equitable, and just teaching and learning. They collaborate with others to systematically study teaching and learning and develop evidence-based programs and innovations across campus.

The UCSB KeepTeaching site is a central hub to support teaching and learning through disruptions to on-campus instruction. Instructors can draw on the teaching pedagogies and technologies learned during remote instruction to enhance teaching in any modality: face-to-face, blended, flipped, or hybrid.

Instructional Development is a service organization supporting the instructional mission of the campus. Its activities directly address the major goal in the campus' formal Academic Planning Statement, "Ensure Excellence in Both Undergraduate and Graduate Instruction". The mission of Instructional Development is to foster a climate for excellence in instruction, which parallels the climate for excellence in research, within the context of a world-class institution of higher education.

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching is committed to solving longstanding inequities in educational outcomes. The foundation addresses problems that impact large numbers of students, tests innovations on the ground; understands what works, why it works, and in what contexts; and shares what it learns for use by others. In so doing, Carnegie integrates the discipline of improvement science and the use of structured improvement networks to build the education field’s capacity to improve.
