COVID-19 Temporary Access to Academic Resources: Home

Temporary Access to Academic Resources

This guide provides links to collections of books, films, and other academic library resources that have been made available online for purposes of teaching and research for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis. These are temporary online resources; once we are past the COVID-19 crisis, and the UCSB Library is again open, we can expect to lose online access to most of these materials. These are also supplementary online resources. They supplement what the Library already provides in the way of online academic databases.

Your best option for finding online articles, books, primary sources, and other scholarly resources is via the Research Guide that covers your topic. Visit the UCSB Library’s Research Guides list to find the guide for your major, department, or program.

But to explore these temporary resources, follow the links and instructions you find under the tabs at the top of this guide.

We are making every effort to keep this guide updated, but please let us know if you know of additional online resources that should be added to the list, or if you discover links to resources that are no longer available. Contact us with your comments and suggestions.
