EndNote

Note: You will need to have a WorldCat account to use this option. This account is NOT your UCSB account nor will your WorldCat account be connected to any of your UCSB accounts.

Steps:

1. Open Endnote and your library.
2. Search Next-Gen Melvyl
3. Select the records you want.
4. Click Save To, and select the appropriate list.

• If you have signed in to your account you will be prompted to do so at this time. 
  
• If you have already signed on, click Save button to continue.

5. Under My WorldCat menu, select My Lists.
6. Select the list you wish to export and then either click on Select All or check the boxes of the references you want to export.
7. Select desired citation style from Citation Style drop-down menu.
8. From Export Selected References, select To Endote.
9. Click Export button.

• In the pop-up download window you will be given to options: Open with Web Export Helper (default) and Save File.  Chose Open with Web Export Helper (default).

10. Viola!  Your references will now be in your library.  Review the imported entries with the Preview tab to make sure they are correct.
