In the sequel, Unjin survived from a major fight between her gang and the White Shark gang, but suffered amnesia. She worked for a restaurant owner who saved her life and gradually fell for her. Unjin tried everything she could to recover her memory. In the process, she became the leader of the local merchants’ association. When she finally recovered her memory, her life was turned upside down again.

Makdong is a naive young man who returns home after serving in
the army. He now wishes to start working, become affluent, and support his
family. Unfortunately, when he arrives home he finds the area (the outskirts of
Seoul, South Korea)
is economically depressed, and his family are not the close, loving unit he
wishes them to be. Making money proves to be much more difficult than he
anticipated, as jobs are extremely scarce. Organized crime offers lucrative
employment, as the area is controlled by gangs. A chance encounter with a young
woman leads him to meet a gang boss who seems to be a little more respectable
than most, and when he’s told he won’t have to break the law, he accepts a job.
The boss takes a liking to Makdong’s simplicity and straightforward character
and looks after him, to the resentment of other gang members. Despite the
promise of legitimacy, Makdong gets drawn further into a criminal life.
