Welcome to the Library guide for Writing 2 teaching assistants. Most pages (tabs) contain instructional materials for Writing 2 assignments that require the use of library resources. Currently, the two assignments associated with Project Two, and its emphasis on understanding academic inquiry, disciplines, and texts, is the focus of the guide.
As the curriculum develops, more pages and resources can be added. The more UCSB instruction and reference librarians know about writing assignments that require the use of library materials the better prepared librarians will be to support the needs of Writing 2 instructors and students.
Two important documents that all Writing 2 instructors should be familiar with are:
